Counter Path offers Bria’s apps for the iPhone and iPod Touch and has also introduced a virtual media application for the enterprise user of Android smart phones that will arrive in the market by October or November, 2010. The Bria app for Android smart phones runs on Android’s 2.2 or higher and supports Session Initiation Protocol compliant with a multitasking server. This feature allows users to attend to the call at the same time while multi tasking using other apps. Other features include PBX options such as call on hold, forwarding, reject, merge & splitting and also intended and unintended transfer.
Bria also has features like call history panel that highlights the calls attended and missed by the subscribers. The security provisions such as audio encryption, contacts integration, customized facilities for communication enhancement and for providing higher degree of user experience, are unique too.
