The wife of UFC light heavyweight fighter Brandon “The Truth” Vera, Kerry Vera is moving her way up the ranks in the fight world, with a recent victory over Kim Couture. Currently signed to Strikeforce, Vera made a name for herself in MMA by emerging victorious on Fight Girls, a reality show that appeared on the Oxygen television network back in 2007. Training out of the Alliance Training Center in San Diego, California, Vera is a southpaw striker who’s honing her skills as a Muay Thai fighter inside the cage.

Holding bragging rights as the first and final BodogFIGHT women’s bantamweight champion, Tara LaRosa’s professional record includes a total of 20 fights, with 18 wins and just 2 losses. With an arsenal that includes a combination of Muay Thai, karate, judo, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, LaRosa has made her mark on the women’s MMA scene with noteworthy victories over top fighters including Amanda Buckner and Kelly Kobold.

Most recently, Santos defended her title for the second time with an impressive victory over Jan Finney at Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum, winning by knockout in the event, further solidifying her status as one of the top fighters in the world.
