After six months of dating, Kim Kardashian tied the knot with Kris Humphries, in front of 450 of their guests. The Black Tie event was on Saturday August 20 in Montecito, California, close by to Oprah Winfrey’s sprawling mansion. Guests, who were asked to only wear black or white, included Lindsay Lohan with mom Dina, Eva Longoria, Kathy Lee Gifford, Ryan Seacrest, who brought girlfriend Julianne Hough, tennis champ Serena William, Demi Lovato, George Lopez, Mel B, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Ciara. For those who don’t know, Kris Humphries is an American professional basketball player. As you all know, Kim’s 20 carat engagement ring cost a cool $2 million, and Kim has chosen a dress by designer Vera Wang. Kardashian’s sisters Kourtney, 32, and Khloe, 27, served as her two maid of honors, while her half-sisters Kendall, 15, and Kylie Jenner, 14, along with Humphries’ sister Kaela, were bridesmaids. All five wore ivory, silk organza mermaid gowns. Kourntey’s 20-month-old son, Mason Disick, was the ring bearer. Kim wore three dresses. For the ceremony, which began around 6:30, the reality starlet wore an ivory strapless ballgown with a tulle skirt, basque waist and hand-piece Chantilly lace applique on the train and bodice while walking down the aisle with stepfather Bruce Jenner. After the ceremony, she slipped into a form-fitting ivory gown for the reception, and then later changed into another dress. Kardashian’s wedding was estimated to cost $500,000, including a $20,000 Vera Wang gown. Kardashian also sold her wedding photos to People magazine for $1.5 million. The story and photos will appear in the Sept. 5 issue of the magazine, and the nuptials will be chronicled in a four-hour on E!
